This policy sets out what personal information Calder VY, LLC ("Calder Kitchen", "we", "us") collects when you visit this site or buy a cookbook, guide or course — and what we do with it. We keep it short on purpose: we collect what the business needs to run and to send you what you asked for, and nothing beyond that.
1. What we collect
- Contact details — your name and email, when you join the list or place an order
- Order details — what you bought and when, so we can deliver files and handle refunds
- Payment information — handled end to end by our payment processor; we never see or store your full card number
- Basic usage data — pages visited and rough location (city or country level), gathered automatically so we can tell what's working on the site
2. What we use it for
- Delivering the recipes, cookbooks or course access you bought or asked for
- Sending the free starter pack and, if you opted in, occasional word of a new release or course opening
- Replying when you write to us with a question or a refund request
- Understanding, in aggregate, which parts of the site people actually use
3. What we don't do
We do not sell your personal information to anyone, and we do not hand our email list to advertisers. We use it to talk to you directly. That's the whole of it.
4. Outside services
A handful of providers keep the site running: an email service to deliver your recipes and newsletters, a payment processor to handle checkout, and ordinary web hosting and analytics. Each one receives only the information it needs to do its part.
5. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies for basic site function and to read aggregate traffic. Block them in your browser if you prefer — the site still works, though it may forget your preferences.
6. Your choices
- Unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of the message
- Ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, by email
- Ask us to stop processing your data for marketing, at any time
7. How long we keep it
Order records stay as long as accounting, tax and refund rules require. Mailing-list details stay until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
8. Children
Our Services are not aimed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
9. Changes to this policy
If we meaningfully change how we handle your data, we update the "Last updated" date above and, where the law requires it, tell you directly.
